Qualifications

No degree required but High School Graduate is preferable. Able to communicate effectively with Donors, vendors, and management.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

• Greets and thanks donors for their donation to the agency. Must be pleasant and polite regardless of the behavior of the donor.
• Assist donors with donated goods and provide customer service.
• Notifies management of hazardous, valuable and / or inappropriate merchandise / materials are being donated.
• A tax receipt is to be offered to each donor.
• Notifies management of goods / merchandise found that is not a donated item (i.e., cash, credit card, personal ID).
• Works through management to ensure the protection of agency property, goods, and services.
• Must read, follow, and model all agency policies and procedures.
• Notifies management of any theft or policy violation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
